Yesterday I met Cheryl at the U of M Matthaei Botanical gardens (which just happens to be where I got married) to take some head-shots of her. Cheryl, who is a first grade teacher, needed a self portrait for her bio in the back of her very own children’s book that is getting published! The book will be out soon and I’ll be sure to let everyone know when it is available, in the meantime, here are some of my favorite shots from yesterday. As you can see this pretty lady made my job very easy!

    My favorite picture of Cheryl is the last one! I like her blonde hair against the dark sweater, plus it just looks like the picture you would see of an author on the back of a book. Good job Kelli!

    personally, i like the first one. it’s different than what most authors would use as their book jacket photo. it really captures a personality about her.
